Corporate
Well-Being
Employers -
most Employees have Stress.... but they may benefit from a
Little Pressure...
Corporate companies are seeing higher morale, increased
productivity and lower absenteeism by giving their
employees some Pressure
- That pressure is On-Site Chair
Massage!
On-Site Massage
is a safe and
relaxing way to reduce stress and tension in the
workplace, to help prevent many work related disorders
and to boost morale in the work place. The client sits
on a specially designed chair and the massage is
performed over the clothing, without the use of oils or
creams; this makes it an ideal treatment for the office
- perfect to have during your lunch or coffee break.
This therapy is convenient, with cost-effective benefits to
your employees
- shorter than a coffee break and far more effective.
On-Site Chair Massage is the ideal modality for the busy
workplace environment where employees benefit from this
quick, dynamic de-stressing therapy and can return to their
desks buzzing with energy. In many of today’s busiest
environments such as airports, shopping malls, spas and
fitness centres, seated acupressure practitioners can be
found practising their art, and relaxing their clients.
More and more companies are recognising that there are
times when it can be of benefit to allow members of staff
time away from their desk for a relatively brief period -
especially when its for a short treatment in the workplace
that will help alleviate the effect and symptoms of stress.
On-Site massage rewards employees with a simple and
convenient method of reducing the stress experienced in
these competitive times.
Staff return to their work fresh, relaxed and feeling more
positive.
Catherine will bring along a specialist massage chair which
can be set up quickly and easily. All you have to do is
provide a small space in your building and nominate someone
within the office to take bookings.
All clients complete a consultation form to ensure that
massage is appropriate for them. The treatment is
non-invasive, lasting from 10 minutes to 20 minutes, and
will focus on reducing stress and muscle tension. The
therapist concentrates on the key stress-carrying areas;
the back, shoulders, neck, scalp and arms.
Each client will go back to their working week relaxed and
revitalised.
Prolonged
work-related stress leads to:
Poor
performance, Increased staff turnover, Increase in sick
leave among staff (and other staff left with additional
workload), Reduction in Morale, Poor mental health,
Increase in unhelpful behaviours.
