Aromatherapy Massage
A unique, aromatic oil blend is created from essential and
plant oils, chosen either by 'following your nose', because
you like the aromas and they appeal to your sense of calm
and well-being, or chosen according to the oil's
therapeutic qualities. This aromatherapy massage focuses on
relaxing your body and mind, and
allowing your skin to absorb the organic, aromatic oil
blend.

information about essential and plant oils.
Your massage can be a focused massage, just on your back
and shoulders, or a full body treatment which includes the
feet and face. Traditionally, aromatherapy massage is soft
and relaxing as the main focus is on the absorption of the
oils, but your massage will be tailored to how you're
feeling on the day and can focus on areas of stress in the
body.
A full consultation is always taken before every treatment
and in some cases a 'patch test' will be carried out to
ensure you will have no adverse reactions to the oil used
in your massage; essential oils are very strong and can
cause severe irritation unless they are used properly and
diluted in a carrier oil.
This is a truly relaxing and nurturing treatment for Body,
Mind and Spirit.
As with all therapies, if booking a course of 3
aromatherapy massage treatments
your 4th is free.
Prices: ½ hr £20 - 1 hr £30 - 1½ hrs £40

Aromatherapy should never be regarded as an alternative to
orthodox medical treatment, but should rather complement
it. If you are receiving treatment or medication from your
doctor, it may be necessary to check with your GP before
having a treatment. Please make the practitioner aware of
all relevant medical history, and alert her to any
allergies you have. Aromatherapy, Massage and the use of
Essential oils are best avoided during the first 12 weeks
of pregnancy.
The therapist cannot and does not diagnose or treat
illnesses or disease of any kind. Essential oils should
never be applied to any part of the skin unless diluted
first, they should never be taken internally and should be
kept out of reach of children.
